The primary issue of concern is the input of nutrients, toxics and metals,
pathogens, and suspended solids into the Hillsborough River and its tributaries.

water resources in the watershed, the pressures on those resources caused by human use of
the water resource, and the management efforts that are employed to mitigate the impacts
of those human uses.
Section C: Habitat and Living Resources
This issue area provides a broad view if the relative health and present ststus of the
marine, esturine, freshwater, and upland systems associated witht he river that
comprise the major components of the Hillsborough River Ecosystem.
Section D: Air Quality
This issue area provides an overview of the present status of air pollutant
emissions, ambient air quality, and the deposition of contaminants within the watershed.
