Strategic Assessment of Florida's Environment
(SAFE)
Last Update April 29, 1996
SAFE consists of eighty-seven indicators grouped into
categories that
reflect the thirteen issue areas developed in the FCER
project, as well
as a series of other issues of concern. The purpose of the
SAFE project
is to design a full planning system using environmental
indicators that
can structure existing and future planning activities for
three
individual river ecosystems, the Apalachicola River, the
Hillsborough
River, and the Peace River.
